Buzzy Bee Preschool Daycare has a highly qualified teacher, is licensed and offers a fun, loving, structured, fantastic learning and a safe environment for your son or daughter. We offer the best of both worlds: a quality education in a loving, happy and secure home.

Our goal is to provide a fun and safe learning environment for your child, while encouraging social, emotional, intellectual, and physical development. As a teacher, I feel early learning is essential along with a lot of play time. As your childcare provider and teacher, I will help your child with letters, numbers, colors, shape recognition and writing skills. I strive to enrich each child with a love for learning, a positive self-image and a sense of creativity.

Buzzy Bee Preschool method offers developmentally appropriate activities for individual children, and helps them develop problem solving skills. We strengthen a child’s self-esteem by showing them respect, encouraging independence, and acknowledging their successes.

About the Teacher

My name is Sonia Carr and I am a healthy, non-smoking and energetic mother of one child age 21 years old son, he is my pride and joy and I am married to my wonderful husband Bob. I am very involved in the daily life of my family and in their daily activities. I am from Brazil and I am fluent in English, Portuguese and Spanish. I hold a Bachelors degree in business from the University of Brazil and I am a licensed Child Care Provider located in Highlands Ranch, Colorado. My hobbies are cooking, reading, dancing, arts&crafts, oil painting and working with children.

Experience

I have taught Early Childhood at Douglas County School for 4 years , a volunteer Sunday preschool teacher at Cherry Hills Community Church, CPR/First Aid certified/Medication training and State licensed and I have chosen to open Buzzy Bee Preschool in my home to continue in my love of teaching.

Rates

We offer competitive rates for my quality program. My rates include hot lunch, morning and afternoon snacks, all preschool curriculum, and art & craft supplies/projects. Please contact me to set up an interview to go over all of Buzzy Bee Preschool rates and policies.

I strive to enrich each child with a love for learning, a positive self-image and a sense of creativity.
To provide a nurturing atmosphere to promote a child's creativity and positive self-image.
To provide the children with many different educational activities. I provide developmentally appropriate programs for the children to experience and enjoy. I incorporate nature walks, music, art, stories, and daily written reports into my programs.
To provide positive methods of discipline to reinforce the strengths of the children and to help develop a respect for others. I set age-appropriate limits to help the children gain a sense of independence and responsibility.
To be available to parents for the purpose of daily communication. My doors are always open to the parents.
